    When you are first starting out in completing Sudoku puzzles, you should follow these tips:

    First, get an easy puzzle :P . You don’t want to struggle with a hard puzzle when you are just starting out.

    Next, look at the numbers that are already given to you. Scan each row and column that each number is in and focus on a particular number. For instance, if there is a 7 in the box on the top, and there is a 7 in the box in the top, middle part on the column right below the first seven, follow both of them over their columns and rows. This way, you can easily find only a single place in a box for that number to be. That is the best tip that I can give you for solving the easier Sudoku puzzles.
