daily sudoku
rebbyshy1 asked:

sounds weird but i would rather read the paper but i had to cut back and that’s one of the first things that had to go ><

so anyone know the best place to read up on news and possibly have the same stuff in it like the daily cross word or sudoku puzzle?

you should really consider using Yahoo’s main page. It has the option to look for local news and weather. It will be give you articles from The Tribune, Suntimes, Daily Herald and the Daily Southtown as well as from new channels such as ABC 7 and FOX.

Then, head over to the games section for the daily crossword and sudoku.

You can get the weekend “RED EYE” free delivered to your house. The Monday – Friday “RED EYE” is available free to pick up at kiosks on some corners .

I never have time to sit down and watch the news so I set this as my homepage so I can catch the main headlines and weather updates. It’s a really great website and also gives good reviews on restaurants, and other attractions in Chicago!
    I really recommend it:)

I’m also a fan of my daily paper. I prefer to thumb through the entire newsprint paper, but when that’s not possible, I also read local news online. Both the Trib and the Sun-Times have their own Web sites, and I often go to those.

You might enjoy checking out EveryBlock Chicago, too. It was created by Web wiz Adrian Holovaty and offers super-localized content–i.e., block-by-block news.

If you really want free newsprint to read, I like another poster’s suggestion to get the free RedEye. I hadn’t known that you could get it delivered to your home. Sure, it’s a dumbed-down version of the Trib, but it has your basic news and I think it has crosswords, too. You can also keep an eye out for the Reader at coffee shops and bookstores.
