The mad craze at the moment is the puzzle Sudoku. I am dying to have a go at it so bought a book. But for the love of my life I cannot understand how the game works.
Can anyone advise on a web site whare it can be explained in easy terms.

The easier puzzles appear in our local paper on Mondays-Wednesdays, and sometimes on the weekends. Those I can handle. However, I have rarely been able to solve puzzles on Thursday or Friday. (Skill level 4 or 5) Do any Sudoku experts out there have any advice once the puzzles hit these more advanced levels?

Am I just.. incompetent?

I’ve never done a stairstep before, but I spent a ludacris amount of time doing it and failing. Can anyone solve this?

i love doing suduko puzzles…but their all to easy!! do any of u no really hard ones? and i no a couple of impossible ones so dont try it.

I’ve just started learning sudoku with a program Ancient Sudoku. It’s fun, challenging and a bit time consuming. I’ve just started on the easy level and the program does tell me if I’ve hit a duplicate.
My initial technique has been to look horizontally, to see if any of the blocks of nine on the same row have two of the same number – this gives me the row where the third number may exist.
I then repeat this moving vertically.
Afterwards, I go through each block of nine and pencil in the potential numbers that might fit.
Sometimes I find a square that can only be one number, I then fill in the right number. I also end up having to go backwards to see if any previosly filled blocks of nine change based on the new number I entered.
This is a laborious process, but usually gets things done.
Is there a better technique?

btw, i’m using a software program / game which tells me if the cell I’ve selected is right or wrong.
If I were doing it in a crossword puzzle I’d have no such help. How do you handle incorrect write-in numbers?

I have been a sudoku addict for the past month, but i need help. I am pretty fast at working the easy level and i understand the basic methods for solving them, but is there a website that can tell me how to solve the harder levels.

There must be a knack to it as I watched an 8yr old finish one in a few minutes.

I like the puzzle game, it really fun, but it can get hard.

People say it is a easy game, but I kind of find it hard when you can’t find a clue which number go where, you know what I’m sayin?

I was kind of wondering what other people think?

1. Sudoku cheat:Play the medium or easy mode. Solve the puzzle and as soon as you are done solving the puzzle press the hint button. It will disapear and come back click it again. Your score may say 540mb but this can get you up to 1000mbs!!!
2.bumper boats: Click the 1 player tournament and wait about a minute. Sylvie will now pop up on the screen and you have her as an option. She is unbeatable and will win everytime. Also just take some time to collect all the cheerios
