The US version of Pokemon HGSS waters down the casino with a one-room gaming club where you are given the Coin Case. Voltorb Flip plays like a cross between Sudoku, Picross and Minesweeper. On a square grid of 25 panels, each can be a 1, 2, 3, or a Voltorb (0). If you get the Voltorb, you lose all your coins. The first number you turn over is the base number, and each subsequent number is a multiplier. You are able to mark squares by what you suspect them to be before you turn them over. For each row and column, there is a note marking two values: One is the sum of the numbers in the row, and the other is how many Voltorbs are in the row.
If there are zero voltorbs in a row, then you can avoid marking any voltorbs in that row. If the same row’s sum is five, you can mark each panel with a 1, because the sum must be five and there are five panels without Voltorbs. Using this method, one can cross-examine each row and column to try and determine which panel can be what value. Sort of a logic process, but one that still seems to require much guesswork.
Are there any simple clues to this game to make it much easier to play? Sort of a process for elimination so that one can systematically determine all the possibilities? Sort of a quicker method of determining the final markings for each panel after analyzing each intersection based upon that row’s possibilities.
In summations, any hints or clues to guarantee the best possible outcome from each round of this game to avoid wasting any more time without simply picking every square of every row of zero Voltorbs?
If a row’s Voltorb count and Sum both equal 5, then that row can be ignored.
If a row’s Voltorb count equals zero, then that entire row can be flipped.
a good sudoku website that I can fill in more than one number in the box? I know only one number belongs there, but if I can see all of my options per square I have an easier time focusing
I’m looking for a new ds game and I can’t decide on what would be a really good game! Here are some of my favorite ds games:
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon-I basically fell in love with the mystery dungeon games! I never played a pokemon game before, except for these type, so I’ve only experienced this spinoff of Pokemon. However, I thought it was pretty darn awesome.
Super Mario Bros.-I bought this since I saw all the good reviews and I did enjoy it a lot, although it was kind of easy to beat. I did play it 3 times through though so I’d get my money’s worth!
Animal Crossing-This was one of my very first games and I enjoyed it a lot. Now, a couple years later its grown old to me since you do the same thing everyday basically and I cant do multiplayer with anyone. However, it did entertain me for a long while.
Lego Star Wars- This was the last game I got, and I did find it pretty good. I wouldn’t say it was the best ever, but it was okay.
Rune Factory 2-This game entertained me for a long long time. I found it refreshing and different from most games I bought before.
Brain Age 2-I basically did everything in this game, and found it slightly old except for the Sudoku which was pretty awesome in this game
And I’m just going to say I do have a version of NintendoDogs, so no one will recommend it. It WAS cute and pretty fun, but I got bored eventually.
Alright, sorry for listing all that if you didnt actually wanted to know a description for the games on why I liked it and blah blah =). The games I thought about getting are maybe a Sims game (My Sims Kingdom or Sims 2: Castaways?), Bowsers Inside Story, Zelda: Spirit Tracks or Phantom Hourglass, or MAYBE trying a pokemon game since I loved mystery dungeon. But I thought I’d ask, so if you have any insight on those games or something different to recommend please do! I **** spending 20-30 dollars on a game that turns out to be crappy. Thanks for your help!
Could you guys say why do? I’m so indescivive haha
You know, the ones they laughingly refer to as five-minute games? Sponsored by Ritz Crackers? Why just one a day of this well-designed program? Can you eat just one Ritz?
Anyone know where I can get more of one as well designed as that one?
Kyle, what is “miniclip”?
Sam, good try, but I had already seen both of those. The problem is that the Ritz-sponsored one is very well designed, and one can write the clue numbers in the squares. I can’t do that in the one from your first source. The value of that would be improved immensely if my printer worked. Then a pencil and eraser would do the job.
I did find one that’s pretty good and cost $19.99 to download. Not quite as good a design as the Ritz one though.
I have been playing the daily Sudoku puzzle and when I complete it I receive an id like “acddode” for the contest. What contest is this, I have looked and searched and see nothing like that. Thank you for the help.
The daily sudoku through Yahoo games UK.
I am playing Sudoku Online via Yahoo UK. The exact message is “Your code to take part in the Sudoku contest is: aceeieb “. I just don’t know what this is and cannot find an answer anywhere in Yahoo.
Thanks for the help!!!!
Does anyone know of any good Sudoku games with more than 100 puzzles for a Nintendo DS lite. I like to play sudoku and can do about 3 a day in my spare time. I can do both easy adn adanced evels of the puzzle. I am looking for a game that will provide with a range of difficulties and a LOT of puzzles. I am going to be on a cruise soon with plenty of time to kill.
Until a few days ago, Yahoo had a really good format for Sudoku puzzles that were available in easy, medium and hard every day. It allowed you to make notations in the squares as you went along, just as if you were doing it on paper. Suddenly it was replaced by the puzzle in the current format. I would sure like to know if the previous style is available at another site.
