Help me brainstorm for Intranet Social Website/page?

jorluiseptor.com asked:

I’m developing a social webpage for my organization’s Intranet website where I’d like to post information which be used for social interaction in a casual way. I currently have a daily comic strip that i capture from the web, but want to put more stuff (surveys, daily sudoku, forums..). If you had a page like the one i’m working on, what would you like to see? Keep in mind, it needs to be fun and entertaining, but inside a business environment. Please share your ideas or what you’ve seen in your workplaces. I’m using MS Sharepoing Services.

    Quotable Quotes
    Joke of the day
Dear Abbey (or a play on that theme)
Useless Trivia section (like “Todays temperature in Vladivostok is -13 degrees”)
“30 seconds in the life of…” A small interview with a different employee every week. Keep it to maybe 6 questions.
Book/movie reviews (either done by you or delegated to a staff member).

Hope this gives you some brain food.
    Cheers.

I’ve found the most entertaining pages give you a reason to come back. You might post a contest or a quiz with a small prize for the winner … they need to hit the page daily to enter and to find out if they won a prize from the previous day’s entry.
