There are plently of sites and a few books that teach how to solve Sudoku. I’m NOT refering to these. I want to learn to solve Sudoku faster. I want to improve my speed significantly. I want to solve them twice or thrice faster than I do now, regardless of my current speed. Are there any techniques?

you just got to practice making your mind work fast, and practice a lot!
You sound like you are already better than me. But I used to struggle to solve some of the Soduku. I read about techniques, and it helped a little but not much. Then my sister gave me a Sudoku Computer Program a little while back and it has really helped me a lot. I really enjoy working puzzles now.
