Tita la bonita asked:
anything i can do randomly would help. that side of my brain is dormant. Im more of a writing person, but enjoy the challenge of math. Oh yeah something challenging would be cool and something like a routine which i can do on a daily basis or as long as i want.

Sudoku is awesome, it makes you logically think stuff out. Yahoo Answers gives great review to many math problems. Playing instruments stimulates the same part of the brain as solving math, so that’s great also. Try to calculate prices of stuff you buy, such as restaurant food, before the check comes to be paid. All of these help out greatly.
You can play math games online, start learning advanced mathematics, play games like Big Brain Academy or Brain Age for the DS. There are all sorts of things.
Just type on Google: Math games grade __
Fun Math games
Math Grade __ (grade higher than yours) etc.
I also like a challenge. Hope this helps!
My advice is to get a head start on your next math class, and or practice the stuff you already learned.
Go to the library check out a book, read it and work the problems. Most math books have solutions to at least the odd problems, so you can check your self and keep your skills fresh.
Good luck.
Hello.
Best way to stay sharp in math is to study it! Choose a math book from the library and work your way through it.
That’s how I started out, just doing it for kicks.
It’s unbelievable how sharp math makes you. At everything.
Another good idea is depending on what grade level you are in, if you are like high school where you buy your text books try working out all the math problem sets that you may not have done over the course of the school year. If you don’t have a textbook, online games with numbers such as math.com has homework help and games that utilize math to help with math skilles.
Sudoku is good. Check out for some more puzzles
