sudoku and the brain ?

since sudoku helps the brain become more …… well you know what i mean. and i have a test coming up, do you think playing a hard level of sudoku will at least make school work easier since you are using your brain ?

    no not really. Soduko or however you spell it, is a patterning thing. It’s kind of just a brain teaser. But if you are good at those things it does help you as you go along. I can’t really explain how but it does. Certain ways of patterning show that you are good with numbers. I worked at a school and we took a 5th grade test just for the heck of it. It was all this patterning stuff . When we got done the teacher told us what we were good at. She left me till last. Then she told me that I was great at things with numbers and math type stuff. I told her yea why. She said that if you pass that test then you are really good with numbers. dumbest thing I ever heard of. But that is how they tell if little preschoolers will be good at math or reading or whatever. If they can do the patterning stuff then they can tell ahead of time. weird I say. But it’s true.
    The soduko stuff may help you to relax or unwind before your test, but I really don’t think it will in fact help you in anyway. But hey. Nice for trying……and you thought you’d have a good reason to play instead of study….HAH! nice try.
