Instead of erasing, try writing very small the numbers it could possibly be in each box. You will eliminate those and get there by deduction. Don’t forget to cross them off otherwise you will get in a muddle.Hope that makes sense.
Don’t focus on solving one whole box at a time. Instead of looking at the boxes, see the puzzle as horizontal and vertical lines. This helps me . Most people I know go quickly to the box with more numbers in it, trying to fill the blanks. Instead, use those numbers to fill the lines. Also, watch which numbers are repeated the most, this will help you fill that same number in other boxes or lines.
focas on one block at a time, that is how my younger sister taught me.
