All my friends are fantastic at sudoku and they LOVE it, but i don’t, mainly because well, I can’t solve those things. I just want to know for those sudoku solvers out there how do you solve them, is it natural ability, patience, or secret formula that I don’t know about…? Thanks.

do lots of them
try, try, try again.
Think more logical terms.
practice practice practice
Most of the books have instructions in the front. Follow them and practice a lot.
patience, just write out every number i **** at them too lol
oh if u want to cheat lol and make them think your a genious, theres a program that you can download online that solves any of them for free!
Practice, practice, practice.
I do the sudoku puzzles in the USA Today everyday. I had to start out with the easy ones, they rate them from one to five stars.
After I learned to do the easy ones the harder ones got easier to do.
Start with the very easy puzzles and try starting with the number one and seeing if you can fill it in any place, then move on to number two….up to number 9 and then start over. With practice you will get it.
practice makes perfect………start with the easy ones then work your way up to the harder ones
i always find it easier to solve sudoku on paper….. try it … mite work for you aswell
Practice makes perfect!!! Or they have a book out now “Sudoku for Dummies” you could pick that up and read it and use the tips inside to help you out.
Find a book for beginners, that is how I started it. Now I’m addicted.
First I look at the numbers to see if any numbers fit into places.
When I start to get stumped I will use a pencil and start writing all the possible numbers that could fit into each square.
Just keep on trying…you’ll get it! :]
approach from many different ways… figure out which square the number has to be, eliminate squares where certain numbers cant be, count numbers in row and column for an individual square… I also use a dot system… when I know a number has to be one of two in a box, row, column of nine I will put a dot in the square representing the number (top left 1, bottom right 9…) some people use numbers but that can get messy. Also right out the numbers that you have completely finished. Patience also helps.
well, for me as a beginner too, i try to look up tips. also if you have any gaming systems you should get a suduko game. i have one for my ds and it helps me out a lot. you can try asking your friends for tips too.
Go to . Use the options and set it on helpful. You can also set it where you can put multiple entries in each place until you see which one is right. A fun place to practice.
It’s a matter of pattern recognition and logic. If you aren’t good at those then you can do things to make your mind sharper. I would actually recommend reading good books, then wasting time solving puzzles. I did my fair share of sudoku when they came out but found them too easy and wasted too much time creating minimum sudokus (17 numbers are the minimum needed to solve). I think everyone should exercise their minds, but do something productive at the same time. Remember in the end, it just gets thrown away.
Improve your observation skills to solve using the the two primary methods.
See if the SuDoku Tutor 3i software can help you in the process.
