   Start out with a really easy beginners puzzle. Fill in the numbers that you know for sure are right (as in there is no other possible place to put that number in the box). Then eventually you’ll have the whole puzzle solved. Gradually you’ll move on to harder and harder puzzles.

   you should first look at the rows and columns… seeing if there is any easy answers you can get out of it… (there can only be one of each number in each row, column, and box) then look at the boxes to see if you can complete a whole box.

   make sure you dont just guess numbers… do not write down a number unless it is the only possibility… it could ***** up your whole puzzle.

   The way i started was by starting from the number 1. Check down every three column block and every 3 row block, that’s 27 squares. There can only be 3 of the same number in each block. One on each row. When you find a block with 2 of the same number in it, go to the only 3 squares where it can be. Check up and down from the 3 squares, you want to find your number twice in them rows. That will give you a good start. Repeat from 1 to 9, the easy puzzles will be solved using that method. Remember that each 9 square cube will have the numbers 1 to 9 in it. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense, it pretty hard to explain. Good luck anyway.. G

   there really is no easy way. start in the books for beginners, you didn’t mention if that’s what you used so i’m assuming you didn’t. good luck, they are difficult and take some time and getting used to!

   Look at any set of 3 rows or 3 columns (there are 3 sets each of rows and columns).

   Work through the numbers 1 to 9 in order.

   Starting with a 1, do you already know where two of the 1s go ?
   If so, is it obvious where the last 1 must go ?
   Check in the other rows and columns to see if there are more 1s
   which restrict the possibilities.

   If you fail on the 1, try with the 2 and then 3 etc.

   That should get you going…….
